The collaboration between the subject and I when creating each of these photos, allowed us to properly create and highlight the individuality of that person. The mirrors provide anonymity, yet offer a sense of connection with the viewer. The viewer is seeing what the photographer sees, but also what the subject would be seeing. This offers a relationship between the viewer, subject, and photographer, and creates a uniform, but unique story in each photograph.
